EVRI-thing You Need to Know About Diviner and PLS_Toolbox/Solo 9.5

September 26, 2024

Join us on Thursday, September 26 when we present “EVRI-thing You Need to Know About Diviner and PLS_Toolbox/Solo 9.5.” Diviner is our new semi-automated Machine Learning tool for accelerating the development of calibration models. Three years in development, Diviner is the centerpiece of the soon to be released PLS_Toolbox and Solo 9.5. After a preliminary automated outlier analysis, Diviner searches over preprocessing methods, regression parameters and variable selections to find models that predict well without being overfit. It presents results so that analysts can understand what options are contributing to model quality and thus learn from the process and make informed choices rather than blindly picking “the best model” for implementation.
.
Diviner also allows for the selection of ensembles of models for deployment. Our results with these ensembles show that they often have better prediction error than any single model and greatly reduce the risk of picking a single (potentially sub-optimal) model.

Eigenvector President Barry M. Wise will lead the tour of what’s new in 9.5 and will be joined by members of the development team including Bob Roginski, Manny Palacios and Lyle Lawrence.

A question and answer session will follow the webinar. Don’t miss your chance to quiz all the Eigen-Guys about how to get the most out of PLS_Toolbox and Solo version 9.5!

Register for “EVRI-thing You Need to Know About Diviner and PLS_Toolbox/Solo 9.5” through your existing Eigenvector account, or create one. The webinar is free, but you must register to attend. Find the webinar near the bottom of the page under the “Purchase” tab.

The webinar will be live on Thursday, September 26 at 7:00am PDT, (that’s 16:00 CET, 10:00 EDT). Reserve your seat today and we’ll send you a WebEx meeting invitation a couple days before the event. We hope you can attend, but if you sign up and can’t make it, we’ll send you a link to view the recording the day after the webinar.
